Mike, I hope you get this message. It is primarily for Memphis. There is a pair of eagles that have a nest here in the botanical gardens. A camera and microphone has been rigged up so everyone can see and hear the baby eagles. It is on 24hrs. A day. Type in the following on your computer and it will come up: DCEAGLECAM.ORG It is done live the purpose being to watch how the mom and pop take care of the baby eaglets. They have been named mr president and First Lady. The babies hatched about a week ago. One of the parents caught a duck, brought it to the nest, and pulled the meat off to feed the baby birds. It is fascinating to watch. As soon as it can be determined the sex of the eaglets, they will be named. Great learning experience for children as well as we adults.

I so like the painting you did for the library. The little figures that have recently shown up are charming.

    Enjoy the bird watching
